The state and the historical operator declared that the Metropolitan France was covered has 98% by the ADSL. This figure could appear impressive, but it also means that tens of thousands of French are not yet eligible with the ADSL and must thus be satisfied with low connections flow. Or not of connection at all.
Nearly 3% of the 36.000 french cities would be thus concerned with the white zones.
Also, in our city, there are zones not connected to the ADSL, or having only one limited connection.

The terminals of access without wire to the Internet used for the Step WiFi Chin have design features identical to those used by the private individuals. They fulfill the requirements of the Decree n° 2002-775 of May 3, 2002 “relating to the exposure limit values of the public to the electromagnetic fields emitted by the equipment used in the telecommunications networks or by the radioelectric installations”.
The World Health Organization (WHO) published in May 2006 a memorandum entitled “electromagnetic Fields and public health: Basic stations and technologies without wire” which relates to in particular WiFi. |
